UVA finished 12th at the NCAA Championships with 10 student-athletes earning All-America honors. Leah Smith was the second person in history to break 4:30 in the 500-yard freestyle, recording at time of 4:28.90 at the NCAA Championships. The Cavaliers set eight school records in addition to setting a conference and meet record in the 800-yard freestyle relay at the ACC Championships. The team recorded five ACC titles.
