The Cavaliers finished sixth at the 2017 ACC Championships with Joe Clark and John Whiteside earning All-ACC honors. At the NCAA Championships, Bryce Shelton finished third in the 3-meter dive, while Ted Schubert’s 100-yard butterfly placed him fifth in UVA history. The Cavaliers broke three school records during the season in the 100-yard backstroke (Clark), 100-yard butterfly (Keblish) and 400-yard medley relay (Clark, Albracht, Keblish, and Whiteside)
