The Virginia men’s soccer program earned its 36th consecutive NCAA tournament appearance in 2016 after capturing the program’s seventh NCAA championship in 2014. The streak is the longest active stretch among all NCAA Division I men’s soccer programs. The Cavaliers have reached 21 straight NCAA postseason appearances under head coach George Gelnovatch.

Thanks to donations to the Virginia Athletics Foundation, the Cavaliers’ locker room in University Hall was recently renovated and features a film study area, players’ lounge, advanced audio/visual system, and study areas.

Donations to the Virginia Athletics Foundation directed to Friends Of Men’s Soccer provide operational and scholarship support for the program. Donations to the Virginia Athletics Foundation determine priority seating for soccer games.
